Michael Bradfield

Head PGA Professional

Michael started his PGA training at Elie in 2015. In addition to graduating top of his class and winning the prestigious PGA Assistant of the Year Award, he also won the overall award for Custom Fitting & Equipment Technology. Having spent the 2019 season working as a PGA Professional in The Netherlands Michael returned to Elie in 2020 to take up the position of Head Professional. Michael has recently gained his Club Managers Association of Europe Diploma in Club Management and is also a Level 2 Certified TrackMan Coach.

Alasdair Ross
PGA Head Trainee Professional

Alasdair enrolled on the PGA training programme in 2018 and is working towards becoming a fully qualified PGA Professional. Prior to starting at Elie, Alasdair was a member of the Union College golf team in Kentucky, where he won the 2015 Bulldog Invitational. He also graduated with a degree in Sports Management. Alasdair’s ambition is to get to work with players who have ambitions of playing college golf and helping them with that transition.

Jack Currie
PGA Trainee Professional

Jack enrolled on the PGA training programme in 2019.  Prior to starting at Elie, Jack came from Greenock and played out of Kilmacolm Golf Club.  An avid golfer from a young age winning the Renfrewshire Men’s County Match Play at the age of 14, he went on to win the Scottish Junior Champion of Champions.  Jack’s is working to develop and support junior golf at Elie.

Keith Bowman
Retail Assistant

Keith joined the Professional Shop team in 2018. Prior to this he worked for 2 years at the Dukes Golf Course as a retail assistant and Starter. Keith is a very passionate golfer and has played off a scratch handicap since the age of 14. His most memorable experience was playing in the 2015 Alfred Dunhill links as an amateur.
