TENNIS, PADEL and pickleball

Racket sports have been part of the Club's history since our foundation in 1889. Today, more than just tennis is enjoyed at the Elie Sports Club, with a new padel and pickleball courts available for visitors and members alike.

Tennis is played on three all-weather courts, two hard courts and two mini-courts. In May 2024, the Club opened two first-in-region padel courts. Padel, the fastest-growing racket sport today, is a lower-impact sport played on smaller enclosed courts. Another popular racket sport at Elie is pickleball, which can be played on one of the Club's hard courts, which has had official court markings added.

TENNIS BOOKING

Tennis courts can be booked 14 days in advance by members and 3 days in advance of play by visitors via the Clubspark Booker App or via the Clubspark website button below. Courts are bookable by the hour for both members and visitors. They are reserved hourly from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., daylight permitting.

Visitor AND GUEST PRICING

  • Just £20 per court per hour during July and August. We only charge for the hourly hire of the court - great value for 2 players, even better for 3 or 4.

  • £15 per court per hour. We only charge for the hourly hire of the court - great value for 2 players, even better for 3 or 4.

  • £5 per court per half-hour.

  • Only £4.00 per player per hour of play. (Member must play with their guests.)

  • £2 per racket. Available for hire in the Pro Shop. Call ahead to ensure availability on 01333 330 955.

Padel at Elie

PADEL BOOKING

Courts are bookable by the hour for both members and visitors. They are reserved hourly from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., daylight permitting. Last play of the day is 8.00pm.

Padel equipment hire is available during Pro’s shop opening hours only. Outside these times players should bring their own rackets and balls.

  • Only £28 per court per hour during July and August.

Coaching and Camps

At Elie Sports Club we offer coaching for all ages, from beginners to elite players; learning to play and improving skills in a fun and relaxed environment.

Our professional racket sports coaching team is led by Anna Myatt. Private and group coaching is available throughout the year for tennis, padel and pickleball. The Easter and Summer Camps are popular options in the Club's racket sports calendar. JUNIOR SUMMER CAMPS
